Development
Building Skills, Confidence, and Love for the Game
Programs for Every Stage of the Journey
Our development programs are designed to support athletes at every stage of their basketball journey. Whether your child is just picking up a ball for the first time and discovering a love for the game, or already has an advanced skill set and is looking to refine their performance, our programs provide the coaching, structure, and encouragement they need to grow both on and off the court.
01
Accessible Excellence
High-quality training without financial barriers, ensuring every child has the chance to learn and grow in the game.
02
Holistic Player Development
Focusing on both basketball skills and life skills like leadership, confidence, and teamwork.
03
Community & Belonging
Creating a supportive environment where athletes feel valued, encouraged, and part of something bigger than themselves.
More Days. More Gyms. More Access.
We’re growing with our families. In response to demand, we’ve added Saturday programming and expanded just east of North York into Scarborough. If you’d like us in your neighbourhood or have access to a gym/partner site, email info@pbaa.ca and let’s explore bringing our programs to your community.
Weekly Development Program
Our weekly drop-in development training is designed to give every player the chance to grow their skills without finances being a barrier. We believe quality basketball training should be accessible, so while these programs are low-cost, they still deliver the same PBAA standard of love, care, and attention that helps shape the next generation of leaders on and off the court. Space is very limited, as many athletes return year after year.
Fall/Winter/Spring House League
Our House League gives athletes the chance to enjoy basketball in fun, “game-like” situations without the extra costs, heavy time commitment, or added pressure that comes with the rep side. Designed for players ages 8 – 13, the focus goes beyond just developing basketball skills; we emphasize teamwork, confidence, and life lessons that carry off the court as well. It’s the perfect space for young athletes to learn, grow, and fall in love with the game.
